💊 Treatment
ℹ️ Treatment options are limited. Consult a qualified fish health professional.
Copper (0.15-0.20 ppm chelated) is the primary treatment. Chloroquine phosphate. Formalin. Must treat aggressively - delays are usually fatal.
🛡️ Prevention
ℹ️ Prevention is the most effective strategy for managing this disease in aquaculture and aquarium settings.
Strict quarantine of all new arrivals. Copper treatment in QT if history of velvet in system.
