📖 Overview

Adults inhabit reef flats to a depth of over 17 m. Easily recognized by color but secretive and not often seen . Ovoviviparous . The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail . Also seen in coral reefs in 1-20 m (Ref 90102).
