Tiny Hawaiian dragonet (Synchiropus rubrovinctus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Callionymidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 2.4 cm. It occurs at depths between 25 and 130 metres. With a trophic level of 3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
Dorsal spines (total): 4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8 - 9; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 7 - 8. Body elongate, head slightly depressed. Snout short, eye large. Body with 4 bright red bands (female, Japan) .: fusiform / normal.
