Priolepis Goldshmidtae (Priolepis goldshmidtae), first described by Goren & Baranes, 1995 is a medium-sized fish in the family Gobiidae (order Gobiiformes). Adults typically reach 31.80 cm in maximum length. It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. It occurs in Deep-water waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Data Deficient.The species is kept in the aquarium hobby. Care requirements and behaviour align broadly with other Gobiidae kept in the hobby.

Dorsal spines (total): 7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10 - 11; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 19. 15 predorsal scales, reaching to above mid eyes. Body red with 4-5 narrow, backward directed light bars, a wide vertical bar in front of first dorsal fin and 3 forward directed bars on head.: fusiform / normal.
