Hemirhamphodon Kuekenthali (Hemirhamphodon kuekenthali) is a ray-finned fish of the family Zenarchopteridae. It inhabits freshwater waters in pelagic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 7 cm. With a trophic level of 3.1, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

🐟 Physical Description
Belongs to the pogonognathus - group which differs from Hemirhamphodon pogonognathus and the other species of Hemirhamphodon in having 1 two distinct sizes of melanophores in the dorsal fin, large and small. Resembles species of the phaiosoma -group but differs sharply from H. pogonognathus in having a continuous band of pigment extending from the distal part of the fin to its base .
