Hemirhamphodon Kapuasensis (Hemirhamphodon kapuasensis) is a ray-finned fish of the family Zenarchopteridae. It inhabits freshwater waters in pelagic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 5 cm. With a trophic level of 3.1, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
Can be distinguished by a combination of the posterior location of the anal fin origin, under dorsal-fin rays 8-11, a moderately high number of dorsal fin rays (18-21) with low numbers of vertebrae (38-40) and predorsal scales (35-43) .
