📖 Overview

The Caribbean holds the second-largest barrier reef system (the Mesoamerican) after Australias GBR. Historically rich in Nassau grouper, queen conch, spiny lobster, and reef fish, the Caribbean has been devastated by overfishing, invasive lionfish, coral bleaching, and disease.
