Photonectes Klepadloae (Photonectes klepadloae), first described by Prokofiev & Frable, 2021 is a small fish in the family Stomiidae (order Stomiiformes). Adults typically reach 11.90 cm in maximum length. It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. Recorded depth range: 660 to 805 metres. It occurs in Tropical waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator.

🐟 Physical Description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 17; Anal soft rays: 19; Vertebrae: 49. This species is distinguished from all its congeners by the following set of characters: postorbital organ is shifted forward to below the eye; blue luminous tissue on body arranged in two widely spaced interrupted lines between IV photophores and a streak-like patch on each side above 10th to 12th PV photophores; and a pair of stalked photophore-like structures on distal extremity of mental barbel stem .Cross section: compressed.
