📖 Overview
Splitbulb Dragonfish (Leptostomias bilobatus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Stomiidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in pelagic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 11 cm. With a trophic level of 4.2, it is a mid-level predator. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Long chin barbel bearing two long filaments on stem and two short filaments on bulb . Body marked with vertical rows of tiny light organs. Dark brown, probably black .: elongated.
