🐟 Physical Description

Dorsal spines (total): 10; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 9. Preopercular notch and knob weak. Pectoral fins long, reaching the level of anus. Scale rows on back rising obliquely above lateral line. Back and sides pink to reddish, with a series of oblique narrow yellow stripes; lower sides and belly lighter, with narrow yellow horizontal stripes; fins yellowish to reddish.: fusiform / normal; Cross section: oval.
