Coregonus Intermundia (Coregonus intermundia), first described by Selz & Seehausen, 2023 is a medium-sized fish in the family Salmonidae (order Salmoniformes). Adults typically reach 27.80 cm in maximum length. It inhabits freshwater systems including rivers, streams, and lakes. Recorded depth range: 10 to 40 metres. It occurs in Temperate waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Vulnerable.

🐟 Physical Description
It is a medium-sized whitefish with moderate pigmentation on its fins and body. Its flanks above the lateral line are greenish-blue, with a moderate number of small pigmented dots on the scales. The species features a short head, a sub-terminal mouth, thick and triangular-shaped eye sockets, and a relatively short, stout caudal peduncle.
