Chlopsis Slusserorum (Chlopsis slusserorum) is a ray-finned fish of the family Chlopsidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 14.1 cm. It occurs at depths between 366 and 487 metres. With a trophic level of 3.7, it is a mid-level predator. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.
Vertebrae: 138. Differentiated by its high vertebral count combined with its distinctive pigmentation - light tan, dorso-lateral surface of body overlaid with a series of circa 30-35 dark brown blotches; blotches either do not extend to the dorsal surface (anterior to dorsal origin or near tail) or only weakly extend to the dorsal fin base, which is lightly pigmented for most of its length; blotches do not line up in pairs with blotches on other side of body .: eel-like.
