Chlopsis Bidentatus (Chlopsis bidentatus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Chlopsidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 16.7 cm. It occurs at depths between 300 and 503 metres. With a trophic level of 3.7, it is a mid-level predator. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.

Vertebrae: 125 - 128. Bicolored pigmentation, light brown above and distinctly white ventrally; dorsal origin about one-eye diameter behind gill opening; vomerine dentition in two biserial rows anteriorly .: eel-like.
