📖 Overview
Conductivity measures how well water conducts electricity, which depends on dissolved ion concentration. Pure water: 1-5 µS/cm. Distilled/RODI: 0-10 µS/cm. Soft freshwater: 200-400 µS/cm. Hard freshwater: 800-1600 µS/cm. Seawater: 50,000+ µS/cm. Precise conductivity meters are the gold standard for TDS measurement in demanding hobbies (shrimp breeding, aquascaping).
