📖 Overview
The Okavango is an inland delta - the river never reaches the sea, ending in the Kalahari. Seasonal floods create vast temporary fish habitat. Tigerfish, tilapia, and catfish support both local fisheries and world-class sport angling. UNESCO World Heritage since 2014.
