📖 Overview

Found in muddy or sandy waters of freshwater rivers and estuaries . Regularly enters freshwater streams during the spawning season, and probably at other times . Large numbers of adults and young caught during the rainy season in the Chao Phraya River and other rivers of that system. Feeds on crustaceans, small fishes, and benthic organisms . Marketed fresh . Small fish may be used as duck feed and fertilizer .
