Licorice gourami (Parosphromenus deissneri) is a ray-finned fish of the family Osphronemidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 3 cm. 🐟 Physical Description

Dorsal spines (total): 12 - 13; Dorsal soft rays (total): 5 - 6; Anal spines: 12 - 13; Anal soft rays: 8 - 11. In males, the pale subdistal band on the caudal fin incomplete, interrupted posteriorly, constituting a series of oval pale spots on the fin membrane while the rays are dark pigmented.: elongated.
