🐟 Physical Description

Dorsal spines (total): 9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11 - 14; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 10 - 12; Vertebrae: 24. Six to seven pectoral filaments below pectoral fin, the fifth filament from the ventralmost, longest, may extend beyond caudal fin. Body and head yellow, shaded with black dorsally; fins bright orange, pectoral filaments intense vermilion .
