🐟 Physical Description

Dorsal soft rays (total): 10 - 11; Anal soft rays: 14 - 16. Has 21-25 predorsal scales; 7-10 long, black vertical bars on the sides, becoming more or less circular posteriorly . Sexual dimorphism in color, body shape, and fin shape obvious in specimens over about 7 cm SL .: elongated.
