📖 Overview

Adults inhabit sandy runs and pools of creeks and small to medium rivers. They occur usually in clear water. Often found near vegetation in the north part of range . Adults feed on filamentous algae and detritus, in addition to the expected small invertebrates . Migratory behaviour is undetermined .
