Sandstone Catfish (Neosilurus manjandi) is a ray-finned fish of the family Plotosidae. It inhabits freshwater waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 17.4 cm. With a trophic level of 3.4, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.

This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: small plotosid with a moderately extended caudodorsal fin (originating just posterior to mid-point of body); small first dorsal fin; depressed head; hard dorsal and pectoral spines; first dorsal I,4-5, second dorsal 44-52; and pre-caudal vertebrae 8-9 and caudal vertebrae 35-39 .: elongated; Cross section: oval.
