Shy, rock-dwelling species, living deep inside rock crevices; never seen in the open; spend all of their time hiding . Usually found at levels deeper than 20 m . Lives in the crevices of the sediment-rich rocky biotope; its enlarged molar-shaped teeth indicate a diet of hard substances .
