Nansenia Indica (Nansenia indica) is a ray-finned fish of the family Microstomatidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. It occurs at depths between 0 and 430 metres. Dorsal soft rays (total): 10; Anal soft rays: 9; Vertebrae: 47. Branchiostegal rays 4. Caudal peduncle length 2.0 times the depth. Anterodorsal distance is 48-52% SL. Anteanal distance is 46% SL; long head, about 21% SL. Unpigmented scale pockets; adipose fin almost completely black .: elongated.
