📖 Overview
Adults inhabit rocky pools and slow-flowing sections of streams. Also found congregating at the base of small waterfalls . Feed partly on small prawns and juvenile fishes , but is basically an omnivore. Eggs are guarded and fanned by the male parent . Aquarium conditions: pH=7.2, H=8, 25°C water temperature, live food, egg layer, peaceful community fish, requires rock and plant cover .
