Robust mora (Laemonema robustum) is a ray-finned fish of the family Moridae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 36 cm. It occurs at depths between 336 and 1200 metres. With a trophic level of 3.5, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.
Dorsal soft rays (total): 50 - 57; Anal soft rays: 48 - 54; Vertebrae: 47 - 52. Body robust and deep 21.9-27.7% SL, with deciduous scales (Ref 31160).
