Blacknose sculpin (Icelus canaliculatus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cottidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 21.1 cm. It occurs at depths between 20 and 1005 metres. With a trophic level of 3.5, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.

Marine; demersal; depth range 20 - 1005 m , usually 400 - 600 m . Temperate North Pacific: Hokkaido, Japan and Navarin Canyon in the Bering Sea to the Aleutian chain and the Gulf of Alaska.
