📖 Overview
Inhabits areas close to papyrus fringes of islands or more exposed areas offshore of islands over mud bottoms . Feeds on dipteran larvae and pupae. The absence of phytoplankton or sand grains in the stomach of the specimens which were examined suggest that the fish were feeding away from the bottom .
