📖 Overview

Adults occur in vegetated pools and margins of springs and spring-fed headwaters and creeks (Ref 5723, 10294). 9.4 cm TL . Juveniles feed primarily on microcrustacea and midges; adults consume amphipods and isopods, small mayflies, terrestrial insects, and snails . Migratory behaviour is undetermined . Not a seasonal killifish .
