Dorsal soft rays (total): 21 - 23; Anal soft rays: 35 - 37. Body elongate and slender. Snout protrusible. Long chin barbel, slender, terminal bulb preceded by long simple filament. Barbel stem has little or no pigment. Black in color .: elongated.
