Cynolebias Vazabarrisensis (Cynolebias vazabarrisensis) is a ray-finned fish of the family Rivulidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 7.6 cm. With a trophic level of 3.3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.
Dorsal soft rays (total): 16 - 19. Coloration in males differ from females. Anterior part of second pharyngobranchial strongly curved laterally; narrow posterior arm of parasphenoid. Anal-fin base scaled. Anteriormost dentary teeth strongly bowed. Rounded caudal and pectoral fins. Number of dorsal-fin rays in males, 17-19; females, 16-17; caudal-fin rays 30-31. Snout gently pointed with lower jaw not elongated. Supraorbital neuromasts 26-29 .: fusiform / normal; Cross section: compressed.
