Cynolebias Itapicuruensis (Cynolebias itapicuruensis) is a ray-finned fish of the family Rivulidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 8.7 cm. With a trophic level of 3.3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.
Dorsal soft rays (total): 16 - 18; Anal soft rays: 19 - 21; Vertebrae: 34 - 35. Anterior interopercular notch. Anal fin base naked. Supraorbital neuromasts, 30-32. Caudal and pectoral fins rounded; caudal-fin rays 27-31 .: fusiform / normal; Cross section: compressed.
