🐟 Physical Description

Dorsal soft rays (total): 15 - 18; Anal soft rays: 17 - 21; Vertebrae: 35 - 37. Supraorbital neuromasts 32-38. Dorsal fin of males with long filamentous rays. Scaled anal-fin base. Contact organs on inner surface of most or all rays of pectoral fin of male. Dorsal-fin rays 16-18 in males, 15-17 in females; anal-fin rays 19-21 in males, 17-20 in females; caudal-fin rays 32-35. Snout gently pointed with lower jaw slightly elongated .: fusiform / normal; Cross section: compressed.
