Turbo tetra (Creagrutus yudja) is a ray-finned fish of the family Stevardiidae. It inhabits freshwater waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 3 cm. With a trophic level of 2.7, it is an omnivore, consuming both plant and animal matter. It is assessed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.

Dorsal soft rays (total): 8; Anal soft rays: 7 - 9; Vertebrae: 36. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: absence of infraorbital 6 (vs. present); differs from its congeners, except for C. cracentis, C. maxillaris, C. melanzonus, C. phasma, C. runa, C.veruina, by having a shallower body 13.7-19.2% (vs. > 20%); differs from C. cracentis, C. maxillaris, C. phasma, C. runa, C.veruina by having a lower number of perforated lateral line scales 34-36 (vs. > 37); differs from C. melanzonus by having a higher number of post-anal scales 4-6 (vs. 2) .Cross section: oval.
