Bryconamericus Lambari
📖 Overview
Bryconamericus Lambari (Bryconamericus lambari) is a ray-finned fish of the family Stevardiidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 5.6 cm. With a trophic level of 2.7, it is an omnivore, consuming both plant and animal matter. It is assessed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.

🐟 Physical Description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 10; Anal soft rays: 19 - 22. Its elongated body with greatest depth 24.6-29.8% of SL; lack of dark pigmentation on the distal tips of the caudal fin; 3 or 4 maxillary teeth. Bryconamericus lambariis further distinguished from B. iheringii by the shallower body depth and shorter pelvic fins; distinguished from B. stramineus in its absence of a conspicuous and wide midlateral stripe (present in B. stramineus).: fusiform / normal.
