📖 Overview
Crested sculpin (Blepsias bilobus), first described by Cuvier, 1829 is a medium-sized fish in the family Hemitripteridae (order Perciformes). Adults typically reach 25.00 cm in maximum length. It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. Recorded depth range: 0 to 250 metres. It occurs in Temperate waters. Diet is predominantly piscivorous, targeting other fish and larger prey. The species is valued as a game and sport species.
