📖 Overview

Adults inhabit rocky areas. They feed on tiny invertebrates and algae . Eggs are hemispherical and covered with numerous sticky threads that anchor them in the algae on the nesting sites . Larvae are planktonic which occur primarily in shallow, nearshore waters .
