📖 Overview

This crypto-benthic (caves and crevices) species is commonly found from the surface to depths of at least 55 m around rock . Eggs are hemispherical and covered with numerous sticky threads that anchor them in the algae on the nesting sites . Larvae are planktonic which occur primarily in shallow, nearshore waters .
