Freshwater; benthopelagic; pH range: 5.5 - 6.0; dH range: 5 - ?. Tropical; 23°C - 30°C South America: Orinoco River basin, in the Vichada River drainage and the middle Meta River drainage in Colombia, and along the middle Orinoco River basin.
