📖 Overview
Golden pomfret (Xenobrama microlepis), first described by Yatsu & Nakamura, 1989 is a large fish in the family Bramidae (order Scombriformes). Adults typically reach 49.40 cm in maximum length. It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. It occurs in Polar waters. Diet is predominantly piscivorous, targeting other fish and larger prey.
