📖 Overview
Bearded Eel Goby (Trypauchenopsis intermedia) is a ray-finned fish. It inhabits freshwater waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 9.5 cm. With a trophic level of 3.5, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Characterized by the following: presence of many barbel-like projections on the head; ultimate fin ray in either the dorsal or anal fins (or both) bearing a forked pterygiophore, middle radial is bifurcated with proximal radial adjoins one hemal (or neural) spine, bifurcated arm adjoins hemal (or neural) spine posterior to it .
