📖 Overview
Trigonectes Strigabundus (Trigonectes strigabundus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Rivulidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 12 cm. With a trophic level of 3.4, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.

🐟 Physical Description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 10 - 12; Anal soft rays: 16 - 17. Diagnosed by having straight mouth cleft; smaller pelvic fin of the male (tip reaching to the base of the 5th anal ray); and the presence of a pale pink stripe along the ventral margin of the male caudal fin .
