Synodontis Lufirae (Synodontis lufirae) is a ray-finned fish of the family Mochokidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 20.5 cm. With a trophic level of 2.9, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.
It is distinguished from Synodontis denticulatus by a lower number of mandibular teeth, 23-27 vs. 30-58 in Synodontis denticulatus .: fusiform / normal.
