Sinocyclocheilus Xingyiensis (Sinocyclocheilus xingyiensis) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cyprinidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 13.2 cm. With a trophic level of 2.9, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.

Dorsal soft rays (total): 7; Anal soft rays: 5; Vertebrae: 35. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: significant body budge along the junction of the back and behind the head present; eye diameter small (4.9%-7.4% SL); maxillary barbel length long (13.1%-19.9% SL) and rictal barbel length long (11.7%-19.2% SL); pectoral fins long (19.2%-24.0% SL), 42-46 lateral-line scales, 10-13 scales above lateral line and 9-12 scales below; 7 (13-14) on outer (inner) side of the first gill arch; vertebrae 35 (14-15 + 4 + 16 17); and pharyngeal teeth 2, 3, 4/4, 3, 2 .: elongated; Cross section: compressed.
