Xingren golden-lined fish (Sinocyclocheilus xingrenensis) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cyprinidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 12.4 cm. With a trophic level of 2.9, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.

Dorsal soft rays (total): 6 - 7; Anal soft rays: 5. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: horn like structures absent and indistinct elevation at the head-dorsal junction; body scaleless, with irregular black markings scattered above the lateral line; eyes large, diameter 16-21% of head length; D iii, 6-7, last unbranched ray serrate along posterior margin; tip of the pectoral fin not reaching the pelvic fin origin; pelvic fin rays i, 8, tip not reaching the anus; lateral line complete and curved, with pores 65-77; tip of maxillary barbel reaching the anterior margin of the operculum; six rakers on the first gill arch .: elongated; Cross section: compressed.
