📖 Overview
Schistura Caudofurca (Schistura caudofurca), first described by Mai, 1978 is a small fish in the family Nemacheilidae (order Cypriniformes). Adults typically reach 8.10 cm in maximum length. It inhabits freshwater systems including rivers, streams, and lakes. It occurs in Subtropical waters. It is broadly omnivorous, taking invertebrates, plant matter, and detritus. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Least Concern.The species is kept in the aquarium hobby. Care requirements and behaviour align broadly with other Nemacheilidae kept in the hobby.

🐟 Physical Description
Body with 7-10 bars which are very distinct in juveniles; faint in adults when they often remain only as small saddles along dorsal mid-line. Black conspicuous mid-lateral stripe, narrow in juveniles, very broad in adults. Black bar at caudal base complete .: elongated; Cross section: oval.
