📖 Overview
Rhodeus Cyanorostris (Rhodeus cyanorostris) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cyprinidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 3.3 cm. It occurs at depths between 0 and 1 metres. With a trophic level of 2.8, it is an omnivore, consuming both plant and animal matter. It is assessed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List.

It has a longitudinal scale series 32 to 35; no pored scales; transverse scale series 11 (10-12); branched dorsal-fin rays 8 (rarely 7); branched anal-fin rays 7-8; vertebrae 33-34 (rarely 35); no light spots on dorsal-fin rays and males have a nuptial colouration of a blue snout, iris, belly and yellow fins.
