Naggsi's striped rasbora (Rasbora naggsi), first described by Silva, Maduwage & Pethiyagoda, 2010 is a small fish in the family Cyprinidae (order Cypriniformes). Adults typically reach 7.70 cm in maximum length. It inhabits freshwater systems including rivers, streams, and lakes. It occurs in Tropical waters. It is broadly omnivorous, taking invertebrates, plant matter, and detritus. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Endangered.

🐟 Physical Description
Vertebrae: 38. Rasbora naggsi is distinguished from all its congeners from India and Sri Lanka by a combination of the following characters: axial stripe anteriorly narrow, faint in preserved specimens; mouth terminal; symphysial knob and premaxillary lateral process absent; ½ 4/ 1/ 1 ½ scales in transverse line on body; post-dorsal length 43.8-46.5 % SL; and body depth 18.1-21.7 % SL .: elongated.
