🐟 Physical Description

The absence of yellow spots or patches on adipose fin base and caudal peduncle distinguishes this species from all congeners except Pseudecheneis immaculatus. Differs further from other species of the genus except Pseudecheneis immaculatus and Pseudecheneis longipectoralis by its pectoral fin reaching the pelvic-fin base. Can be separated from these two species by the presence of a yellow, triangular patch at occipital .: elongated.
