🐟 Physical Description
Phenacobius crassilabrum is distinguished by having the following characters: lips as in sucker-mouth minnow, P. mirabilis; pelvic fins extending to or past anus; 56-68 scales on lateral line; 19-20 scales around caudal peduncle; dark olive above; dark stripe along back wider in front of dorsal fin; light green streak above black stripe along silver side; and 2 yellow spots on caudal fin base .: elongated.

Freshwater; demersal. Temperate; 37°N - 35°N North America: upper Tennessee River drainage from South Fork Holston River in Virginia to Little Tennessee River in Georgia; extreme upper Savannah River drainage in North Carolina, South Caroline and Georgia, USA.
