Dorsal spines (total): 30 - 35; Dorsal soft rays (total): 4 - 6; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 21 - 24. Color variable, blends with environment; parts of fins translucent (adults); preserved specimens uniform buff .: elongated.
